Emergency recall! Coles ‘best-selling sandwich has hidden allergy risk!

Coles Supermarket is recalling a best-selling product sold in Victoria because it has not been declared unsuitable for people with milk allergy.

 

The Coles Kitchen chicken salad sandwich (194 grams) will be available from February 27 to 28 in general stores, local stores and online stores.

 

However, customers who are allergic or intolerant to milk have been warned that they may have a reaction if they consume the product.

 

Coles said in a statement that consumers who are allergic or intolerant to milk may have a reaction after consuming the product. Any consumers who are worried about their health should seek medical advice.

Coles said the lunch food was sold in several stores, including:

 

South Melbourne, Glenn Ferrie, Camberwell, Balwyn North, Fishroyy, Brighton, St. Kilda, Toorak Village, Normanby Road and Surrey Hills.

 

The company also said that the recalled sandwiches were sold in physical stores and online, and the shelf life on the product was March 2.

Customers can return the product to any Coles supermarket or local Coles store for a full refund. Coles Online customers can call the Coles Online Customer Service Center on 1800 455 400 to receive a full refund or credit limit.
